Hello, weevils! Glamm here, and I couldn’t be more excited to be back with yet another edition of Nest of the Month. Summer is finally here in the Binscape, and I’ve heard Rum’s Airport is buzzing with holiday goers eager to embark on their trips to Mulch Island. There’s so much to enjoy this season, whether it’s basking in the warm sunshine, splashing about in the sea or even indulging in a delicious concoction from the Smoothie Shack!

The Nest Inspector and I were thrilled to challenge all weevils with a Summer Nests theme and the results were nothing short of spectacular! Nests were transformed into breathtaking beach paradises and lush tropical oases – I’m seriously tempted to book a holiday to stay there myself! Gott and Sip introduced a wonderful range of NEW and returning Summer items to Nestco earlier in the month, and they flew off the shelves as avid decorators were eager to include them in their designs.

I’d like to say a huge thanks to all who participated this month. While it was quieter than usual, I still had an absolute blast inspecting these marvellous creations! After much careful consideration, I have made a decision on my winner. One incredible nest truly shone above the others! Without further ado, please put your hands (and antennas!) together for my newest Nest of the Month winner… mario3080! Well done! I am proud to present them with my prestigious trophy, ultra-rare backdrop and shiny Bin Badge in recognition of their outstanding work.

Nest Inspections are temporarily paused for August while the Bin’s dedicated inspectors take a well-deserved break. This is a great opportunity for weevils to practice their interior decorating skills in anticipation of the next theme announcement in September! Stay tuned, as I will be unveiling the winners of my Nest Design Contest later this month. I’ve heard Posh and Lady Wawa are returning from their holiday soon to assist me in the decision-making!
