EEK, it’s true! Last week, I bumped into Fab, the Bin’s fortune teller, who foretold that darkness will spread across the Binscape from deep within the depths of Castle Gam! She wasn’t wrong, Spook Central is here and has transformed our Binscape! My nest is usually a bright and cheerful place, but this time of the year I let it turn nightmarish!

I’m pleased to announce that this month’s nest decorating theme is Nightmare Nests! Grab your broomsticks and fly to Thing’s Halloween Pop-Up Shop located inside the Shopping Mall to refresh your nest with all the signs of Halloween. Inside, you can spookify your rooms with an assortment of fiendish, eerie, and petrifying nest items. Add some sparkle by purchasing those wickedly wonderful Halloween XP Potion bottle boosts to earn extra XP and Nest Coolness points! Don’t forget to fly to Nestco, where you can find an array of spooktacular decor and sweet treats. Yum yum! Gott has kindly collated these items into the NEW category to help find the items you need more easily, weevils. Thanks, Gott!

Nest Inspections Criteria October 2025:

• Nightmare Nest Theme (think creepy caves, spooky woodlands, witches cavern, gothic mansion – the possibilities are endless!)
• Decorate four or more filled themed rooms – you don’t have to pack every nook and cranny, but empty space is not nice
• Furniture and decorations working together in visually pleasing way

Please note that the criteria must be met in order to receive a trophy, a new Nest Inspector Wizard Figurine, a new GLAMM Gothic Figurine and the complimentary Dosh gift.

Seasonal Dosh Rewards:

• Bronze Nest Trophy submissions will earn 50 Dosh.
• Silver Nest Trophy submissions will earn 150 Dosh.
• Gold Nest Trophy submissions will earn 250 Dosh.

I sincerely look forward to what my fellow Nest Enthusiasts come up with for my Best Nest magazines, with issue #61 to be published on 21^st October 2025 and issue #62 to be published on 31^st October 2025. During seasonal months, both publications of Best Nest will feature 10 frightastic nests. Please note, this is subject to change contingent on the quality of entries I receive.

Finally, I’m thrilled to announce the Halloween edition to my Seasonal Retro Trophy contest. Inspired by our new WeEVIL Hunt, I’m searching for the most freakishly fantastic WeEVIL Diner rooms! Three of my exclusive Retro Nest trophies are up for grabs! TOP TIP: add some WeEVIL statues to really enhance the diner experience! Don’t forget to add some gruesome WeEVIL food to keep them off your weevily brains! One WeEVIL Diner room is needed but you are welcome to design more.

Submission rules:
Please note that all nest rooms (eight) must be submitted in order to make a full Best Nest and Nest of The Month inspection. Rooms that have not been changed from past inspections, are barely decorated or empty will be rejected and you will receive no trophy or free gifts. Non-themed rooms can be part of your inspection, weevils. Be sure to send me photos of your nest rooms via the Blue Nest Camera with pride. Good luck and happy decorating!
