Nest Inspections – February 2026!

Hello weevils, Nest Inspector here! Last week, I asked our wonderful Discord community to decide this month’s interior decorating theme as GLAMM and I were having some trouble selecting a theme. The desired theme is loud and clear: this month’s interior decorating theme is Under The Sea styled rooms. So, it’s time to cause a splash and transform your nest into a lovely bubbly underwater paradise!
Gott will be re-organising the NEW category of Nestco, where you can find an assortment of aquatic furniture and rare treasures to make the shopping experience that much easier. Don’t forget to try different decorating techniques, like mixing and matching themes, to see what marvellous creations you can make! The possibilities are endless. Here’s a TOP TIP: mushroom seats and shelves can double as coral reefs!
Nest Inspections Criteria February 2026:
- Under The Sea themed rooms
- Decorate four or more filled themed rooms – you don’t have to pack every nook and cranny, but empty space is not nice
- Furniture and decorations working together in visually pleasing way
Heaps of Dosh Rewards:
- Bronze Nest Trophy submissions will earn 50 Dosh coins.
- Silver Nest Trophy submissions will earn 100 Dosh coins.
- Gold Nest Trophy submissions will earn 200 Dosh coins.
Please note that the criteria must be met in order to receive a trophy, an Inspectors Under The Sea Poster and the complimentary Dosh gift.

Important information – schedule change for Best Nest:
Only one issue of Best Nest will be published at the end of each month until further notice. I am passionate about interior decorating, and it’s always a pleasure judging each and every single submission. It’s really great to have such a talented and dedicated community. The weevils who enter my competition all want to do their best, so I hope this continues long into the future! However, the number and quality of entries sent in to be inspected have slightly dropped, and it is therefore difficult to select and showcase the best possible rooms. I know many Nest Enthusiasts will be disappointed with this decision, and understandably so, but please do not be disheartened. I remain optimistic that things will improve so that we can return to a fortnightly schedule to showcase many more beautifully executed rooms. Thank you all for understanding and your continued interest in participating in my competition. It means more to me than you know!
Submission rules:
Please note that all nest rooms (eight) must be submitted in order to make a full Best Nest and Nest of The Month inspection. Rooms that have not been changed from past inspections, are barely decorated or empty will be rejected and you will receive no trophy or free gifts. Be sure to send me photos of your nest rooms via the Blue Nest Camera with pride. Good luck and happy decorating!
