Hi, weevils! The Halloween magic lingers just a little longer, what a time we’ve had! My favourite moments included playing ghoulish games at Spook Central, hunting for beastly furniture and shopping for creepy plants, plus trick-or-treating with my mates, Tab and the Garden Inspector, every moment was a delight! We even spent an evening at Flem Manor with the Vampire, who treated us to terrifying tales and a truly unforgettable dinner. Halloween 2025 has been one to remember!

A couple of weeks ago, I launched a new contest inviting weevils to craft a freakishly fantastic garden for the spooky season! Many gardeners from all over the Bin responded, utilised eerie seeds and decorations to design the most ghoulish garden ever seen! The overall standard was incredibly impressive, and the range of ideas weevils incorporated in their gardens was certainly a sight to behold. Even scaredy-cat Tab found them super-scary, so he couldn’t get a wink of sleep, suffering nightmares!

Please join me in saying a huge congratulations to Niall, RenamedLemon, Effulgent and Squiggles! You’ve done it. Our winners crafted the most spooktacular stunning Halloween Gardens, chose haunted plants and items that were expertly showcased in their designs!
