I’m delighted to announce that the theme for December 2025 Garden Inspections is Christmas and Winter styled gardens! Design a garden that captures the festive and winter spirit, making an unforgettable impact. Find a lovely range of topical seeds and holiday inspired items at the Garden Shop! Looking back, I have received several outstanding Christmas and Winter styled garden designs over the years! I hope 2025 continues the tradition in spectacular fashion.

TOP TIPS: Fill your garden! Mix ’n’ Match! Grow a variety of seeds, including festive plants, and deck out your decorations. I’ll be on the lookout for weevils who make use of both new and classic seeds and items from the Advent Calender!

It’s truly impressive to receive garden submissions filled with inventive designs and numerous items, though often with very few plants. I would encourage striking a better balance between garden items and plants, including perishables, and occasionally incorporating some permanent seeds. This is a formula gardeners have followed for years, helping to improve the chances of winning a better trophy or even the grand prize!

December 2025 Garden Inspections Checklist:

• Christmas and Winter themed Gardens
• Submit a fully decorated and creative Super Deluxe sized garden design photo
• Grow a variety of seeds such as permanent plants (optional) however you must choose perishable type and add items (no fixed number)
• Plants and items (e.g. trees, statues, decorations) working together in a visually pleasing way
• Garden design must include a balanced amount of plants and garden items

Please be aware that the above requirements must be met in order to receive a trophy, a new Garden Inspector Nutcracker Nest Item, a new Snow-Draped Potions Barrow Garden Item and the complimentary Dosh gift.

Seasonal Dosh Rewards:

• Bronze Garden Trophy submissions will earn 50 Dosh.
• Silver Garden Trophy submissions will earn 150 Dosh.
• Gold Garden Trophy submissions will earn 250 Dosh.

Using the garden camera, send me a photo of a ‘Christmas and Winter‘ design (in Super Deluxe size) for a chance of earning a trophy and free gifts!
Please take the time to decorate and grow your themed garden design first.
Once your garden is suitably decorated, the green camera (re-log required) will be activated.
It’s essential that you only submit when your garden is fully ready.
