Bonfire Night celebrates the thwarting of the Gunpowder Plot in 1605, a tradition that has led to spectacular firework displays and bonfires ever since! The phrase “Remember, remember the 5th of November” serves as a reminder of the day Guy Fawkes attempted to blow up the House of Lords in London. This historical event has been commemorated for over 400 years!
