Hi, everyone! I’m back with another amazing edition of Garden of the Week! That’s just bursting with colour, fresh inspiration and important information. Wipe down your wellies, take a seat and continue reading, as I bring you the latest garden news!
The sun is shining brightly, the temperature is soaring, the garden has been watered, and it’s set to be a beautiful day. I absolutely love visiting Mulch Island Beach! Oh, and let’s not forget indulging in ice cream – the perfect treat to cool down in the heat! There’s nothing more splendid than paddling in the sea and having a jolly good time at the beach. Getting an invitation to view a glorious garden lifts my spirits and the Binscape has a great selection in its midst!
I asked weevils to create a Summer Garden and they delivered! Thank you for the submissions! The quality of entries was acceptable, but I think weevils could have done better. I would’ve liked to have more weevils taking part in garden inspections this month, submission numbers were a bit lower than usual!
So, without further ado, please join me in saying a big congratulations to Binmate, our latest Garden of the Week winner! Excellent job. This colourful Summer Garden is absolutely brilliant! There are just so many beautiful plants and such an amazing array of decorations. The grand-prize winner earns an exclusive trophy, Bin Badge star and Garden of the Week Backdrop to display in pride. Binmate’s full-size garden is now on display inside the Garden Shop!
It’s also time for a runner-up. Squiggles! A top-notch Summer Garden filled with plants and a great mix of summery items make it really stand out. Well done!
They receive an ultra-cool golden petal fence and nest poster.

These three lucky weevils won themselves a super rare Midnight Bird Garden item for their blog comments on Garden of the Week – June 2025. Wave 1.
It’s that time of year when the fairground rolls into town, weevils! The Summer Fair is the biggest and best festival in the Bin, with incredible item prizes, great games, and spectacular attractions. I can’t wait!

Well done and many congratulations to my good buddy Binmate, a truly spectacular garden design. You outdo yourself each time and not only in the garden but also in your gorgeous room designs. You will need a huge safe for all those gold trophies Lol ! Definitely well deserved ! I am so very happy for you xx . Also a huge well done to the runner up Squiggles for their beautiful and colourful garden xx
